Global Wave, provides flexible home care for young adults and seniors, including support with personal care, medication, overnight care, companionship, and live-in care.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and also operate as an Individual Service Fund (ISF) provider, and we proudly support a growing number of customers, including older people and many adults with a physical or learning disability.

“My journey in health and social care began over 18 years ago in the healthcare recruitment sector, working with providers across the UK to supply staff into services supporting older people, mental health, and learning disability settings. During this time, I saw first-hand the powerful impact that quality, compassionate care can have on people’s lives.

Following my recruitment career, I moved into frontline care, working as a Carer and Support Worker supporting young adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This hands-on experience gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of compassion, consistency, and truly person-centred support. I later progressed to become the Registered Manager of Global Wave Ltd, where I combined operational leadership with my practical care knowledge.

These experiences have had a profound and lasting impact on my life and career, continuing to inspire the values behind Global Wave today. The decision to establish Global Wave Ltd was driven by a clear vision — to provide high-quality, personalised care and support in people’s own homes, delivered with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Mental Health Support

We provide personalised care plans that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual. To enable people to maintain their quality of life, some of our services include the planning and encouraging of self-care routines, active listening, managing finances, and practical help with chores, errands and healthy cooking. Our team are trained to provide specialised care for people with mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

Senior Care

At Global Wave, we provide a range of services for older people, including 24 hour Live-in Care, assistance with personal care and daily living activities, medication management, and hourly visits. We ensure that our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring that they receive the care and attention they require. Our service can be an excellent option for seniors who want to remain in their homes while receiving the care they need.

Companionship

We offer companionship and emotional support to older people, people with a learning or physical disability, and individuals with mental health issues. We understand that social isolation and loneliness can have a significant impact on people’s health and well-being. Our staff are trained to provide personalised care that includes companionship, conversation, and activities that promote social interaction and engagement.

Disability Support

We offer a range of disability support services to help people with a physical or learning disability, and other complex care needs to live independently and with dignity. These services can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and can include overnight and Live-in care. Our carers can assist with personal care like bathing, dressing and toileting, as well as helping prepare food and offering companionship.

Medication Support

We provide medication management services, including medication administration, and medication reconciliation. We work closely with our service users and their healthcare providers to ensure that medications are taken as prescribed and that any potential side effects are identified and addressed. We can also provide transportation to medical appointments and assist with medication refills.

Domestic Support

We provide domestic support services such as meal preparation, housekeeping, pet care and laundry. We also include transportation services to help clients run errands and attend appointments. Our domestic support services can help seniors and individuals with mental health issues maintain their independence and quality of life by providing them with the support they need to manage their daily routines.
